Song of Esther SUNJ.jpeg

"Song of Esther"
       by Thomas Juzwiak, ASCAP

COMPOSER'S NOTE:

"This song “tells” the story of a sweet, carefree, beautiful little girl. The moving lines in the instruments representing the many layers of this young child. In the middle you can “hear” her silliness and free spirit. You can also hear the tragedy, however briefly, that has struck her. The selection ends as it began, showing the many layers of this brave little girl. I wrote this piece, pledging my earnings to the GoFundMe page that was set up to help with the medical and family expense"

A lyrical journey, this piece employs a gently rustling musical accompaniment to highlight the poignant melody. An advanced piece with a lot of woodwind work. Many interweaving lines. Ranges are pushed as well as musicality. Grade 3
