ROYAL MARCH SUN copy.1.jpeg

“Royal March"
       by Thomas Juzwiak,ASCAP

With all the ingredients found in a typical march, this piece is written in a regal and elegant style that is characteristic of English marches. Directors will find that it is carefully scored and will help ensembles sound more mature than their years.

Notes from the composer: Dotted and syncopated rhythms are abundant. The ranges are for the most part modest. The 1st and 2nd clarinets go over the break and the flutes go up to a high “F”. This piece utilizes two things I hardly ever incorporate, a key change and for the first time a Tenor Drum. Towards the middle there is a little “Back and forth” between the Tenor and Snare drums.
