Composer's Note:
“This piece, “Resolutions (A Fantasy for Band)” was created for the holidays. It weaves its way through tempo and meter changes as well as style and “scenery” changes. The title “Resolutions” is derived by keeping the holiday spirit so, in the middle of all the ( shall we say “Chaos”) the piece transitions to a very easy, traditional version of “Auld Land Syne”. The selection connects by using a variation on the original theme at the end of the song."
This original holiday concert band selection is grade 2.
