"At Play" (QUINTET VERSION)
       by Thomas Juzwiak, ASCAP

“At Play” is an example of that all important song that reminds us all that amongst all things that music is, it is also fun. This version is written for flexible arragment and varied band instrumentation. This arrangement is written for 5 brass instruments, 2 trumpets, 1 horn in F, trombone and tuba. It also has a percussion part. The percussion should have an extra fun time using some rarely used percussion instruments to add to the “ flavor” of the song.“At Play” is that all important song that needs to be positioned within a concert program to break the “serious” compositions up. It holds the spot of keeping the band, band director and most importantly the audience, interested in the overall performance. All involved will have a lot of fun with it.
